In a supportive and fun-filled environment, the Peace Camp at
Gwynedd Friends helps campers find peace within themselves so that they
are able to contribute to peaceful environments at home, at school,
and with friends.

Campers can experience Kid Power by learning to express their emotions, understand other points of view, usewords to solve problems, celebrate differences and practice peacemaking. There will be a great variety of active cooperative games, arts and crafts, music, creative problem solving and service projects to choose from.

Thank you, thank you for a fabulous fun and educational program.
Our child looked forward to coming every day and
shared his experiences with enthusiasm and pride.
He attended last year for the first time and asked to return this year.
He’s already looking forward to next year.
Love the Daily Challenge program.
Thank you again! ~ Peace Camp parent.

Team building skills are important at Peace Camp, and children can learn
through games to work together, overcome obstacles and reach goals
through cooperation.

The camp is held at historic Gwynedd Friends (Quaker) Meeting. Outdoor activities, such as games and playground time, will be offered. Large, bright indoor areas are also used for activities. Gwynedd Friends is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 202 and Sumneytown Pike in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.

Another wonderful Peace Camp for my grandson!
Every day I heard of wonderful activities:
silent ball, trail-blazing, crafts, hop-scotch.
There seems to be no end
to the fun and learning that takes place in the Camp.
He’s already talking about next year. ~ (Grandmom) 2017

The camp day runs from 9am - 3pm (with drop off between 8:30 - 9am). Children bring their own lunch; snacks are provided by the camp.

Extended day care is available until 5pm for $80 per week or $20 per day, and
snacks/activities will be provided during after-camp care.

Our sincere gratitude for another wonderful year at Peace Camp.
This two weeks of reflection on the approaches and tools
that equip us to live more peacefully and
actively pursue peace in our world,
feels more timely and relevant than ever.
Our children are so fortunate to be here.
Thanks, too, for making Peace fun and accessible for all ages.
~ Sincerely, Peace Camp parent 2017
